This is Cedar Breaks, it is above Cedar City, Utah. The rim is 10,000 ft above sea level. This is the first time I have been there and probably the highest in altitude I have ever been too. My first response when I saw it was breath taking, I didn't expect to see it so close to the road and so vast. We hiked around a portion of the perimeter of this amazing mountainous sculpture.

I am always so amazed at how beautiful Earth is. We are lucky to live in such a beautiful world, it suprises me all the time. From these huge forms down to tiny bacteria. There is so much diversity, you could look your whole life and not see each and every amazing thing on this planet.
